Fablesisters Undertale. Core Encounter

before either of the sisters could question the message, Nightnangel's phone begins to light up to tell that Alphys called then

"h-hey, my camera went down for a moment" she said straight when Nightangel took the call, she sounded really concern "are you g-girls alright?"

"don't worry. the shadowy figure was someone we knew" Vildtiger reassured her

"oh.... sure... okay.... let get moving" Alphys voice hinted she wanted to ask the sisters who the shadowy figure was, but either she knew it wasn't her business or she was too shy to ask.

probably the latter

"take the elevator up to the top of the Core!" she sounded nervous to command them like this, but either of the sisters argued with her, she was their guide in this place after all

"hey Alphys, the elevator isn't responding" Nightangel told Alphys in the phone. she gave Vildtiger a hopelessly look because she keep pushing the bottoms in vain

"it m-most be broken....it should be working" it sounded more like a statement than a question. Alphys most have realized that and her shuttering returned  
"w-well then! let's go to the left" 
the sisters walk into a giant room were large glowing tubes was on each side of the bridge the sister stood on. just by first glance, the sisters just knew Monster technology was far more advance than humans 
"okay, you girls should be able to make it through here-watch out!"
It was two monster called Madjick there had hide in their hats and then popped out of their hiding right in front of the sister.
 they most look like a small flying wizard with a large grin

“alakazam!” it grins and send magic cross after them. Nightangel immediately use her shield attack. It knock the two Madjick out by their own magic.

“well.... that was easy” Vildtiger mumble before they step carefully over the fainted Madjicks.
Alphys call them again.

"th-that was close.... wh...why are there so many monsters here?" she asked

"what do you mean? we only meet two" Vildtiger ask her. both sister hear her sputtering something before saying;

"I-I-I mean.... he-hey, let keep heading forward!" it sounded like she wanted to say something more to them, but she most have lost her nerves since she keep quite

“can you see where we are?” Nightangel ask to changes the subject and because the new room look like it will give them trouble. a big laser blocks their way.

"o-of course... hmm, looks like you two can't proceed until you hit the switch-wait!" Vildtiger pushed the switch before Alphys was done talking and laser moved towards them. again the sisters was safe because of Nightangel shield "oh my god... are you girls hurt?"

"nope, just surprised" Nightangel reasured her. the sisters was still a little wary when walking over the bridge, but no more laser come.

"heh... good thing you can th-that magic trick" Alphys mumbled inside the phone

"you can say that again.... which way now?" Nightangel laugh and she stopped when Vildtiger stopped in front of a cross road

"uhhh... tr..try heading to the right- no w-wait, I think you should h-head up!" Nightangel and Vildtiger looked at each other with unsure exprissions over how Alphys keep changing her mind, but they still follow her lead.

which they probably shouldn't have since a giant knight-looking dragon blocks their way. Knight Knight was so big she have to knell down to avoid knocked her head agaisnt the ceeling

"Adieu" the female monster greeted and looks ready to enter a fight with them both

"farvel!" Nightangel gasped, she grab Vildtiger's arms and they both ran as fast they could away from Knight Knight as they could.
Alphys comes with something there most sound like a hoarse sorry after the sisters was done running and she told them the right way this time. soon the sister was standing in front of a large bridge there is cramped with blue lasers

“hey Alphys, can you do something here?" Nightangel "I can fly over this lasers but Vildtiger can't”

“yeah Al, can you help me over this Laser room?” Vildtiger ask

“okay” they hear Alpyhs scramble around before saying “I'll just deactivate the laser and let you through”

nothing happen

“I....I can't turn them off... I-” Alphys sound like she about to get a panic attack
“i-i-it's okay! I have this under control! I'm going to turn off the p-power for that whole node, then you can walk across” the power turn off and Vildtiger walks over until suddenly all the laser is turn on again. Vildtiger froze on the spot

“Aaaalphys....” Vildtiger moan uncomfortable over the situation she's in.

“Tiger! Are you okey?!” Nightangel cried in the air. She don't dare to get too close to Vildtiger because she is afraid she can do more harm than help.

“yeah.... heh, just figure out the laser is blue attack based” Vildtiger try to smile, but she looks really uncomfortable at all of this.

“thanks goodness...” Nightangel breath a sigh of relief, she know her sister is alright when she can fool around. Alphys sounds like she has gotten a heart attack:

“th-the power.... it's turning itself back on. D-damn it.... th-this isn't suppose to...”

“can you turn the power off again?” Nightangel ask her while she fly around to see she can find anything.

“y-yes sure. When it turn off, move a little and then stop”

“suure, no big deal. This is just like a stop dance” Vildtiger complained and the lasers turned off “a very DEADLY stop dance” she moved a little until the laser flickered and then she stops again. She continued to stop and move
“this is not as funny as it looks lik-OUCH!!” Vildtiger's tail and part of her leg got a large gaze just when she was out of the laser area the lasers turn on three seconds quicker than it did before.

“TIGER!!” Nightangel yelled and runs fast over to her wounded sister. Alphys cry from the phone;

“oh my god, are she alright?! I-I couldn't keep the power off long enough-”

“I'm okay, it's only a little gaze and sis here can healing” Vildtiger mumble and looks at her wound there is close to be flesh wounds and her pants is beginning to turn red because of the blood. Nightangel quick close the wounds with her healing magic. She can't do much about the ruin clothes.

“a-a-alright... I-I've got everything u-u-under control” Alphys keep mumbling in the phone “Everything under control.... I need to go quickly” she ends the conversation and the sisters looks at each other

“sound like she is beginning to lose her self control” Vildtiger say and looks at her now close wounds

“can you blame her?” Nightangel ask her while she help her up from the ground

“no really” Vildtiger say shrugging.  

Alphys didn't ring to them in the next half an hour, they figure out she maybe needed a break and they both looked around the Core's inside in their own pace. 
more monster attacked them like a Astigmatism who surprise attacked them and it keep picked on them. they also meet Final Froggit and Whimsalot who had paired together to take them down, but they avoided bigger injuries by talking to them.

the sisters figure out how to get around the Core themselves. Even it would have spare them some time if Alphys have told them which direction the puzzles to open the door was, but they both know it will probably be for the best to let Alphys relax a little before they call her up.

They only call her up again when they find Mettaton in on for the more 'colorful' rooms.
he have apparently waited for them to come to him
